मध्यरात्री बिबट गावात आला अन...
चंद्रपूर : वर्धा नदीकाठी असलेल्या पोडसा गावात मध्यरात्री बिबट आला. थेट गोठ्यातील मेंढ्यावर हल्लाबोल केला. मेंढ्याचे ओरडणे बघून मालकाने गोठ्याकडे धाव घेतली. गोठ्यातील दृश्य बघून तो शहारला. बिबट मेढ्यांवर अक्षरशः तूटून पडला होता. त्याने आरडाओरड केली. शेजारी धावून आलेत. तोपर्यंत बिबट्याने सात मेंढ्याना ठार केले होते तर सहा मेंढ्या जखमी झाल्या होत्या. या घटनेने गावात दहशत पसरली आहे.
जिल्ह्यातील पोडसा हे गाव गोंडपिपरी तालुक्याचा शेवटचा टोकावर वसले. एका बाजूने वर्धा नदीचे विशाल पात्र तर दुसऱ्या बाजूने जंगल आहे. सध्या शेतात कापुस, सोयाबीन, तूळ पिके उभे आहेत. ही पिके खाण्यासाठी तृणभक्षक वन्यजीव शेत गाठतात. त्यांचा पाठलाग करीत वाघ, बिबट शेतापर्यंत येऊन धडकतात. शुक्रवारचा मध्यरात्री पोडसा गावात बिबट्याने शिरकाव केला. गावातील पत्रू भिवा गोंधळी यांच्या गोठ्यातील मेंढ्यावर बिबट्याने हल्ला केला. यात सात मेढ्या ठार झाल्या आहेत तर सहा मेंढ्या जखमी आहेत. या घटनेत गोंधळी यांचे मोठे नुकसान झाले आहे. घटनेची माहीती वनविभागाला देण्यात आली आहे. या घटनेने गावात दहशत पसरली आहे.
