“तुम्हाला माझा कॉल रेकॉर्ड करायचा अधिकार कोणी दिला”; खासदार नवनीत राणा
अमरावतीमधील एका हिंदू तरुणीचे अपहरण करण्यात आले आणि त्यानंतर तिचा बळजबरीने आंतरधर्मीय विवाह करण्यात आला, असा आरोप खासदार नवनीत राणा यांनी केला आहे. तसेच तरुणीला शोधून तिच्या कुटुंबीयांच्या स्वाधीन करा, अशी मागणीदेखील त्यांनी केली आहे. याच मागणीसाठी नवनीत राणा यांनी कार्यकर्त्यांसह राजापेठ पोलीस ठाण्यात धडक दिली. यावेळी त्यांची पोलीस अधिकाऱ्यांसोबत चांगलीच खडाजंगी झाल्याचे पाहायला मिळाले.
हिंदू तरुणीला डांबून ठेवण्यात आले असून संशयित आरोपी पोलिसांच्या ताब्यात असतानाही तो काहीही माहिती देण्यास तयार नाही. पोलीसही तत्परतेने कारवाई करण्यात अपयशी ठरले आहेत. आपण जेव्हा राजापेठ पोलीस ठाण्याच्या पोलीस निरीक्षकांना या संदर्भात विचारणा करण्यासाठी फोन केला, तेव्हा त्यांनी आपले संभाषण रेकॉर्ड केले हा हक्क त्यांना कोणी दिला? असा सवाल नवनीत राणा यांनी केला. यावेळी त्यांची पोलीस उपायुक्त विक्रम साळी आणि पोलीस निरीक्षक मनीष ठाकरे यांच्याशी चांगलीच शाब्दिक बाचाबाची झाली.
दरम्यान भाजपचे प्रदेश प्रवक्ते शिवराय कुळकर्णी यांनीही पोलिसांवर अकार्यक्षमतेचा ठपका ठेवला आहे. काल संशयित आरोपीला अटक करण्यात येऊनही, पोलीस तरुणीचा ठावठिकाणा शोधण्यात अपयशी ठरले आहेत. पोलिसांनी तात्काळ या तरुणीचा शोध न घेतल्यास आम्हाला कायदा हातात घेऊन आंदोलन करावे लागेल असा इशारा कुळकर्णी यांनी दिला आहे.
