चंद्रपूर : बल्लारपुर वनपरिक्षेत्रात वर्षभरापूर्वी जंगल सफारी सुरु केली. वन्यप्राण्याचे दर्शन व्हावे म्हणून पर्यटक येतात. याच जंगल सफारी परिसरात कारवा नियतक्षेत्रातील कक्ष क्रमांक 500 मध्ये 5 मोर पक्षी मृतावस्थेत आढळून आल्याने बल्लारपूर वन परिक्षेत्रात एकच खळबळ माजली आहे.

बल्लारपुर वन विभागात चांगले जंगल आहे. या वन परिक्षेत्रातील कारवा गाव जंगलाने वेढले आहे. यामुळे या परिसरात वन्य प्राणी व पशु पक्षी मोठ्या प्रमाणात आहे. बल्लारपुर वन विभागाने याच कारणास्तव कारवा जंगल सफारी सुरु केली. काही प्रमाणात वन पर्यटकदेखील वाढले आहे. मात्र याच भागात 5 मोर पक्षी मृत अवस्थेत आढळून आल्याने वन विभागातील अधिकारी व कर्मचारी विचारात पडले आहे.

बल्लारपुर वन विभागाच्या अधिकार्‍यांनी पाच ही मोर पक्षांना ताब्यात घेऊन उतरीय तपासणीसाठी वन्य जीव उपचार केंद्र येथे पाठविण्यात आले आहे. मोर पक्षांचा उतरीय तपासणीचा रासायनिक विश्लेषक जिल्हा न्याय सहायक, वैद्यकीय प्रयोगशाळा, नागपूर येथून अहवाल प्राप्त झाल्यावर मोर पक्षाचा मृत्यू नेमक्या कोणत्या कारणामुळे झाला, असे सांगता येईल. एकाच वेळी पाच मोर पक्षी मृतावस्थेत आढळून आल्याने कारवा जंगलातील जलाशयाचे पाण्याचे नमुने घेण्यात आले असून, तपासणी केली जात आहे. या प्रकरणी वन विभागाने गुन्हा दाखल केल्याची माहिती बल्लारपुर वन परिक्षेत्र अधिकारी नरेश भोवरे यांनी दिली.

Started jungle safari in Ballarpur forest area a year ago.  Tourists come to see wild animals.  In the same jungle safari area, 5 peacocks were found dead in cell number 500 of Karwa zone, so there has been a stir in Ballarpur forest area.

 Ballarpur forest division has good forest.  Karwa village in this forest zone is surrounded by forest.  Due to this, there is a large number of wild animals and birds in this area.  Ballarpur Forest Department started Karwa Jungle Safari for this reason.  Forest tourism has also increased to some extent.  But as 5 peacocks were found dead in this area, the officials and employees of the forest department are worried.

 Officials of Ballarpur Forest Department have detained five peacocks and sent them to the Wildlife Treatment Center for further investigation.  The exact cause of death of the peacock can be said after receiving the report from the chemical analyst of the northern inspection of the peacocks, District Justice Assistant, Medical Laboratory, Nagpur.  As five peacocks were found dead at the same time, the water samples of the Karwa forest reservoir have been taken and are being investigated.  Ballarpur Forest Range Officer Naresh Bhowre informed that the Forest Department has registered a case in this matter.
